Step Process for Roof Restoration |

 |
1.
Hand Rails
Temporary
hand rail system is erected as per Industry
Work Place Health and Safety Standards.
(Legal Requirement). |

2.
Bedding
All
the old ridge tiles are removed and new
sand and cement mix is applied and the tiles
replaced (chipped or broken ridge caps are
renewed). |
 |
3.
Change Tiles
All
chipped and broken tiles are replaced, preferably
with second hand tiles as this gives a much
more even finish. |
 |
4.
High Pressure Clean
Using
3000 PSI of clean water (no chemicals added)
Attention to the nose of the tile is imperative
for a good long lasting result. |
 |
5.
Clean up Mess
The
cleaning process can be messy, but as long
as we can access all around the property
we will clean up all of our mess. |
 |
6.
Pointing
All
caps are re-pointed with a flexible pointing
(we use flexi-point™ as
this is only one of the few products that
has been tried and tested and CRSIO tested). |

7.
Masking
Any
areas that need to be masked will be done
at this point to stop any overspray (e.g.
solar hot water systems, skylights, walls). |

8.
First Coat: Primer/Sealer
This
product acts as an adhesion between the
tiles and top coats (100% acrylic primer/sealer
does not have any molecular change unlike
some solvent products). |
 |
9.
Second Coat: Colour Coat
The
first heavy colour coat is applied with
100% acrylic Rooftop coating manufactured
for QLD conditions. |
 |
10.
Third Coat: Colour Coat
The
second heavy colour coat is applied with
100% acrylic coating manufactured for QLD
conditions (It’s the thickness of
the product and the quality of the resin
that makes the job last). |

11.
Removal of Handrails
All
temporary Work Place Health and Safety Handrails
are removed. |
 |
12.
Final Inspection (Quality Control)
Carried
out by the company owners or trades manager
to ensure work is completed to our and YOUR
satisfaction. You will receive a 10 year
Warranty guaranteeing all workmanship and
materials from the date of completion. |
